Future Coach of the Texas Longhorns?

With the latest developments coming out of Dallas Morning News http://collegesportsblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2011/01/texas-longhorns-targeting-boise-state-of.html While Harsin doesn't have the name recognition as others in the news, including Guz Malzahn, Mike Leach and Major Applewhite, many of his qualities may be exactly what the Longhorns need at this point.
Harsin's calling card is his creativity in play-calling and mastery of the pro-style offense which Mack Brown has reportedly expressed a desire in again implementing on the 40 Acres. Harsin has been on the coaching staff for the Broncos for a total of 10 years and has been at the helm of the high-octane offense for head coach Chris Petersen for the past four seasons.
Typically Chris Petersen has been hands-off with play-calling during his tenure at Boise State and has placed the responsibility for control of the offense on Harsin's shoulders.  I will keep you posted when more information becomes available.
