Well for once the outcome of a football game was decided on the field. All week we have been dealing with smack talk from both sides. I'm not a huge fan of smack talking back because to me it never shows anything but the outcome of this game was not one that was going to expected. On Paper the Patriots were obviously the better team. The Jets kept capitalizing on the Patriots mistakes. I do believe now after watching this game that the better team won or at least on this day. Heck they stunned the New England Patriots in the AFC divisional playoffs, 28-21, for the franchise’s biggest victory since Super Bwl III in 1969. The Jets played a near-perfect game against a team that humiliated them last month, 45-3. This was a 49-point turnaround, the first time in modern history that a team lost by at least 37 points to a team in the regular season and rebounded to beat the same team in the playoffs. Early this week Rex kept running his mouth and said how this match up was personal. After admittedly doing a poor job in last month’s debacle, Ryan took his dunce cap and placed it on the head of the Hoodie. He badly outcoached Belichick, who lost a replay challenge in the first half, tried an ill-advised fake punt that set up the Jets’ second touchdown and failed to make the proper halftime adjustments on offense. Another mistake was not staying in the hurry-up after scoring their first touchdown with an up-tempo offense. This was a game that Jet Fans better stand up and enjoy this one because heading into next week they will have a another tough test in the Pittsburgh Steelers but for now enjoy Fight On Jets!
