Last night wasn’t Isles goalie Rick DiPietro’s night. First he got dropped by a Brent Johnson left hand, then he nearly coughs up a rather weak goal to Pittsburgh’s Craig Adams.
Adams’ seemingly harmless wrister deflects off DiPietro’s stick, bounces off his arm, lands on top of the net, takes a left turn, then rolls right into DiPietro’s water bottle holder.
A hole-in-one, as it were.
